Dr. Albert J. Rudick is a board certified ophthalmologist in New York City and is affiliated with New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and the Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital. He received his medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania with highest honors being elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical school honor society. He has been in practice for 31 years and maintains 2 offices in Manhattan. Selected as a Best Doctor, Ophthalmology, by Castle Connley for the past 20 years, an honor bestowed upon him by his professional peers for excellence in the practice of Ophthalmology, he offers the highest quality Eye care ranging from routine eye exams to the treatment of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Rudick has been named as America’s Top Ophthalmologist in Lasik & Refractive Surgery by the Consumer’s Research Council of America.  Dr. Rudick has served as a consultant for the Top Ophthalmological companies including, Allergan, Alcon, B & L where he has been involved in cutting-edge research in both drug development and novel device design.
 
Dr.Rudick specializes in Refractive Surgery and is recognized as one of the Top Refractive surgeons in the New York metropolitan area by both patients and professional peers. Dr.Rudick also has a special interest in Dry Eyes and is an expert in the treatment of the lacrimal system and lid disorders. In addition, he also offers Botox and Injectable fillers for cosmetic/aesthetic facial applications.
 
A Board Certified Diplomat of the American board of Ophthalmology, he holds degrees from Williams College, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Honor society. His specialty training in Ophthalmology was at The Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. Dr. Rudick was also a founding member of the National Glaucoma Trust. He has been featured in national publications, including Town & Country magazine and The New York Times.
